Maybe lesson planning gets easier. I pray it does. It takes me between 5 and 10 hours to just write my lesson plans for the week and they usually change dramatically as the days go on, as the students aren't interested, as I realize they move through the work surprisingly fast, or draggingly slow.
So, I just decide to make the whole weekend about lesson planning, because I inevitably get (very) distracted. Lots of snacks, surfing the internet, walks, short T.V episodes. I decide I must do the laundry or organize my bookshelf. You know, very productive things. But not exactly productive in the way I need to be.
Matt gets here tomorrow. My love will be with me (hopefully) through June. We might stay in Juneau for the rest of the summer, while he finishes up his job and I frolic in the mountains. I don't care what happens after tomorrow, I just want it to come quickly.
